Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Useful Thing Apps handles information in Collagely, a photo collage editor available on supported mobile, desktop, and web platforms.
Information We Collect
Collagely does not require you to create an account and does not collect personal information such as your name, phone number, precise location or contacts.
The app may access photos and images that you choose from your device's photo library, file picker or browser picker so you can create, edit, save, download, and share collages. When you add images to a saved collage, Collagely may copy those selected images into app-controlled local storage so the project can be reopened later. These photos are used only for the editing features you select inside the app.
If you contact us by using the feedback email link, your email app may send us your email address, the contents of your message, and basic device details included in the email draft when available, such as device model and operating system version. We use that information only to read and respond to your feedback or support request.
How Your Photos Are Used
Photos selected in Collagely are processed on your device or in your browser to create, preview, edit, and save collages. We do not upload your photos, collages or image content to our servers.
For saved collage projects, Collagely stores local copies of selected image bytes in app-controlled storage. On native platforms, these copies are stored in the app's documents storage. On web, they are stored in the browser's IndexedDB database for Collagely. Temporary image choices used only for template background previews are read for that preview and are not copied into the saved image store.
If you choose to share an exported collage, Collagely passes the exported image to your device's system share sheet. The app or service you choose from that share sheet handles the shared image according to its own privacy practices.
Local Storage
Collagely stores app preferences, purchase access state, templates, project information, saved image references, thumbnails, selected image copies, and other collage-related data locally on your device or in your browser's local storage/database, depending on the platform. This helps the app remember your settings and lets you continue working with saved collages or templates.
You can remove locally stored app data by deleting projects inside the app where available, clearing app data in your device or browser settings or uninstalling the app. Collagely also removes locally stored image copies that are no longer referenced by any saved collage when its cleanup runs.
Purchases
Collagely may offer optional premium features through in-app purchases on supported platforms. These purchases are processed by the app store provider, such as Google Play or Apple's App Store. Collagely receives purchase status information needed to unlock premium features, restore purchases, verify current access, and keep access state on your device. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
Permissions
Collagely may request the following permissions:
- Photo library access: used to let you select images for collages. On some platforms this may be handled by a system or browser picker instead of broad library access.
- Photo library save access: used to save finished collages to your device. On web, exported collages may be downloaded as files instead.
- Network access: used for app store purchase services, restoring purchases, opening feedback email links or external sticker attribution links, sending crash reports on supported native platforms, and loading font files or services provided by third parties when needed.
You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings, browser settings or platform permission prompts. If you revoke photo access, some app features may not work.
Third-Party Services
Collagely may rely on third-party platform services to provide app features, including Google Play Billing and Apple's App Store for purchases, platform photo pickers, platform sharing, email apps for feedback, file saving or browser downloads, Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting on supported native platforms, Google Fonts for typography, and external websites opened from sticker attribution links. These services may process information according to their own privacy policies and the settings of your device, browser or account.
Crash Reports
Collagely uses Firebase Crashlytics on supported native platforms to help us find and fix app crashes. Crash reports may include technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, crash time, stack traces, and other diagnostic details related to the crash. Crash reports are used only to improve app stability and do not include the photos or collage content you edit in the app.
Data Sharing and Selling
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your photos or collage content with third parties unless you choose to share or export them through your device, browser or another app or service.
Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
Collagely does not use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs or tracking technologies to monitor you across other apps or websites. Firebase Crashlytics is used for crash diagnostics, not advertising.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local projects, templates, preferences, selected image copies, thumbnails, and purchase access state remain on your device or in your browser until you delete them, clear app data, clear browser storage or uninstall the app. Locally stored image copies that are no longer referenced by saved collages may be deleted by Collagely's cleanup process. Feedback emails remain in our email systems as needed to handle support, maintain records, and protect our rights, unless deletion is required by applicable law.
Children's Privacy
Collagely is not intended to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can review and address the issue.
Security
We use a privacy-conscious design by keeping photo processing and app data on your device or in your browser. However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure, so please use your device and browser security features to help protect your photos and projects.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
